Ingredients:
For Wet Kadai Paneer Masala:
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 2 cups Chopped Onion
- 1 tbsp Chopped Green Chilli
- 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
- 1 1/2 tbsp Chopped Ginger
- 1 1/2 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Cumin Powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups Chopped Tomato
- 1 cups Fresh Tomato Puree
For Finishing Kadai Paneer
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Dry Red Chilli Flakes
- 1 tsp Cracked Peppercorn
- 2 tbsp Cracked Coriander Seeds
- 2 tsp Cracked Cumin
- 1 tsp Chopped Green Chilli
- 1 tsp Chopped Garlic
- 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
- Handful of Diced Green Capsicum
- Handful of Diced Red Capsicum
- Handful of Diced Yellow Capsicum
- 1/2 cup Diced Onion
- 1/2 cup Diced Tomato
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup Water
- 3 cups Paneer Cubes
- 1/2 tsp Kasoori Methi Powder
- Handful of Chopped Coriander
- 1/4 cup Cream (Optional)
Instructions:
Preparing Wet Kadai Paneer Masala
- In a pan, heat 1/4 cup oil and 1/4 cup butter.
- Add 2 cups chopped onions and sautƩ until golden brown.
- Stir in 1 tbsp chopped green chilli, 1 tbsp chopped garlic, and 1 1/2 tbsp chopped ginger. SautƩ until aromatic.
- Add 1 1/2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1/2 tbsp cumin powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Incorporate 2 cups chopped tomatoes and 1 cups fresh tomato puree. Cook until the oil separates.
Finishing the Dish:
- In a separate pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp butter.
- Add 2 tsp dry red chilli flakes, 1 tsp cracked peppercorn, 2 tbsp cracked coriander seeds, and 2 tsp cracked cumin. SautƩ until fragrant.
- Stir in 1 tsp each of chopped green chilli, garlic, and ginger.
- Add diced green, red, and yellow capsicum, along with 1/2 cup each of diced onion and tomato. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Add 3 cups paneer cubes, and cook for few minutes then add Wet Kadai Paneer Masala before prepared.
- then add sliced ginger and Kashmiri methi powder.
- Optionally, add 1/4 cup cream for a creamy texture.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes to infuse flavors.
- Garnish with more chopped coriander.
