PANEER RECIPES

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of paneer, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 large chopped tomato
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander
  • 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Black pepper to taste

HOW TO MAKE HANDI PANEER

  1. Heat 4 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a handi (a special clay pot) or a deep skillet.
  2. Add 2 finely chopped onions and sautƩ them over medium heat until they turn golden brown.
  3. Reduce the heat and add 2 teaspoons of finely grated ginger, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
  4. Add the finely chopped tomato and green chili, and cook for about 8-10 minutes until the tomatoes become soft.HANDI PANEER RECIPES
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup of yogurt and mix well.
  6. Season with salt to taste and continue cooking until the masala thickens.
  7. Add 1/2 cup of water and let it come to a boil.
