PANEER RECIPES

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of paneer, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 large chopped tomato
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander
  • 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Black pepper to taste

HOW TO MAKE HANDI PANEER

  1. Heat 4 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a handi (a special clay pot) or a deep skillet.
  2. Add 2 finely chopped onions and sauté them over medium heat until they turn golden brown.
  3. Reduce the heat and add 2 teaspoons of finely grated ginger, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well.

  5. Stir in 1/2 cup of yogurt and mix well.
  6. Season with salt to taste and continue cooking until the masala thickens.
  7. Add 1/2 cup of water and let it come to a boil.
