Cold Coffee with Caramel Syrup Recipe
Ingredients:
For Coffee Decoction:
- 1 cup Caster sugar
- ½ cup Coffee powder
- 1 cup Water
For Caramel Syrup:
- 1 cup Sugar
- Little water
- ¼ cup Condensed milk
- 1 tbsp Butter, cubed
- ¼ cup Water
For Regular Cold Coffee:
- 6-7 Ice cubes
- ½ cup Milk
- ¼ cup Prepared Coffee Syrup (from the Caramel Syrup)
For Serving (Regular Cold Coffee):
- 2-3 tbsp Prepared Coffee Syrup
- Prepared Cold coffee
- 2-3 Ice cubes
Instructions:
1. Prepare Coffee Decoction:
- In a saucepot, combine caster sugar, coffee powder, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar and coffee powder.
- Allow it to boil for a few minutes until the coffee is brewed.
- Remove from heat and transfer the coffee decoction into a bowl. Let it cool down to room temperature. store in refrigerator for future use.
2. Prepare Caramel Syrup:
- In a separate saucepan, add sugar and a little water to make the caramel.
- Heat the pan over medium-high heat until the sugar melts and turns golden brown.
- Once the sugar has caramelized to a nice golden color, lower the heat and carefully stir in the condensed milk and cubed butter.
- Stir in the water and simmer the caramel syrup for a few more minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and allow the caramel syrup to cool down. it will thickens more when cool.
- 3. Prepare Regular Cold Coffee:
- In a blender, add ice cubes, milk, and ¼ cup of the prepared Coffee Syrup (Caramel Syrup). You can adjust the amount of syrup according to your taste preference for sweetness.
- Blend everything until smooth and frothy.
4. Serving:
- In a serving glass, pour 2-3 tablespoons of the Prepared Coffee Syrup (Caramel Syrup).
- Add the blended cold coffee into the glass.
- Add a few more ice cubes to keep the cold coffee chilled.
- Stir well and serve your delicious Cold Coffee with Caramel Syrup.
