Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe

– 4 cups thickly grated carrot – 3/4th cup sugar – 1/2 cup milk – 1 tbsp desi ghee – 1/2 tsp cardamom powder (elaichi) – 1 tbsp chopped pistachio – 1 tbsp chopped cashew nut – 1 tbsp chopped almond – 1/2 cup grated khoya

– Turn on the gas stove and heat a pan. – Add 4 cups of thickly grated carrots to the pan.

Preparing the Carrots

After 5 minutes of cooking, add 3/4th cup sugar to the carrots. Allow the sugar to release its water and the carrot to release its juices.
